BFE/RMA Research Students' Conference 2021 (12th–14th January)
The Faculty of Music at the University of Cambridge is delighted to be hosting the 2021 BFE-RMA Research Students’ Conference. Sponsored jointly by the British Forum for Ethnomusicology and the Royal Musical Association, the conference will be held fully online via Zoom.

KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS
We are delighted to host two keynotes. Emily MacGregor, winner of the Jerome Roche prize, will deliver the RMA's keynote presentation. Thomas Hilder will deliver the BFE's keynote presentation.
TRAINING WORKSHOPS
The conference will feature a number of training workshops. These include: 1) a panel regarding postdoctoral funding; 2) a panel regarding non-academic careers for PhDs in music; and 3) a joint session hosted by the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Music Studies network and the RMA's LGBTQ+ Study Group around EDI issues in music studies.
COMPOSITION WORKSHOPS
We will be hosting virtual composition workshops, which will be delivered by The Amatis Trio and moderated by Richard Causton.
