CONFERENCE PROGRAMME

Events on Offer

KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS

Two keynote presentations will be delivered by the RMA Jerome Roche 2020 Prize winner and the BFE Early Career Prize winner. We are pleased to be hosting the first winner of the BFE's early career prize.

TRAINING WORKSHOPS

There will be a number of workshops aimed at professional and career development, both within academic and non-academic contexts.

COMPOSITION WORKSHOPS

As in previous years, we aim to have composition workshops at the conference led by Richard Causton and with the involvement of Cambridge's New Music Ensemble. Additionally, we aim to organise a concert of selected compositions from the workshops.

GAMELAN WORKSHOP

Given that the Faculty of Music houses a full Javenese Gamelan, a key feature of the conference will be a performance workshop with the Cambridge Gamelan Orchestra, hosted by Rob Campion. There will be advance registration for this workshop.
